That's phenomenal. It's got cultural cool, mood and humor, and a Sixth Sense style nod...

Plus, my favorite of all its traits, NO DIALOGUE! If anyone's a fan of words it's me, but look how complex an idea that artist was dealing with and still was able to communicate it on images alone.

Just goes to show you the true meanings of planning and appeal. Oh, and really slick hair animation. And the feeling of weight. And solid drawing.

Yeesh =)

I think that is a fine animation. Lots to admire, not the least being the style. It is definitely this restrained style and the excellent audio which for me carry a fairly unpromising and muddled storyline.

I think this because I've watched this thing 4 times and I'm still confused by it.

Where does she get the blade from? Is she the masked opponent of the 'ghost'. If so who are the 3 blighters chasing her.

If not - how does she get the blade back from the masked man. And why 3 masked men when one did the initial killing?

I think some dialogue may have resolved this ambiguity for me. Still I do like dialogue free films.

Top 2 for me 'The Plank' (Eric Sykes, Tommy Cooper) endlessly inventive slapstick humour about a .. ( well I'll let you guess)

or Le Dernier Combat. Luc Besson's first feature, set in an apocalyptic future. Features his appalling taste in music but hey no vocals to go with it.

enjoy

I took it that she stole the sword back from the evil guy that offed her father, and his villainous henchmen gave chase, whom she was forced to dispatch.

i love the style!

and yeah, i came to the same conclusion as Kevan.
I thought the story was fairly well laid out :)

oh well, guess I'm the only confused bunny out here. I really admire the work. And I can certainly see Kev's interpretation in there. Just a few other possibles too.

i am officially depressed! that was incredible. it was painterly and very clear. i think that it's best trait is that it allows the viewer to fill in the blanks. wonderful.
